With three months to go until the doors open for the 7th annual Organic Expo & Green Show at Sydney’s Darling Harbour, held August 5-7, the organisers Smeaton Hackett Events have reminded previous and potential exhibitors that they need to book their stand space now to ensure they get the positions they want, improve marketing and avoid last-minute costs.
Lena Smeaton of Smeaton Hackett Events said everyone needs to come together for the annual industry Organic Expo as it’s the industry’s showcase event in this country and a big opportunity for the trade to talk with retailers, wholesalers, the media and consumers.
“Don’t leave it too late to book and you will obtain better rates and delivery for things such as airfares, accommodation and logistics,” she said. “And, you will be able to better market your company and products through the Organic Expo website, and carry out your marketing to external media and to wholesalers and retailers. The Organic Expo is posting stories about exhibitors and their products to the media in every fortnight’s Expo newsletter and we will be bringing traders to the show that exhibitors would not normally be able to connect with.”
The Organic Expo & Green Show is held from Friday August 5 – Sunday August 7 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hall 3 Darling Harbour, with Friday a dedicated trade-only day and Saturday-Sunday open to the public. A great learning opportunity is the Sustainable Profits Conference and industry forums featuring leading speakers.
In 2010, a post-Expo survey showed that 100% of all exhibitors surveyed met all or at least some of their expectations in 2010, while 97% of those surveyed would recommend the Organic Expo & Green Show to others.
